For the last few days I’ve been dealing with weather, or rather, weather REPORTS. Now I’ve posted about this in the forum before, during the last few days, because I cancelled two dialogues recordings with two different individuals due to weather predictions this past weekend predicting a week of rain and storms beginning on Monday. “Take your umbrellas and stay tuned to your sever weather station” was the mantra all past weekend. Now, today, something weird has happened, and I want to share it to see if anyone else has noticed something. I JUST listened to said local station, predicting, once again, heavy storms beginning about now to midnight, and carrying on and off throughout the night and tomorrow. So I went to Accuweather for my area, and THEIR radar is showing a strong line of storms… about 350 miles to the west of me and moving along at a snail’s pace with NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING in my area. So then I checked Accuweather’s “HOURLY” reported predictions, and THOSE are contrary to their own radar, and dovetail with the local radio, predicting heavy storms and rain within the next hour or so. I’m completely at a loss…yea I know radio stations record weather reports and that accuweather may not update things, but still, the glaring contradiction between what has been predicted the last couple of days, and what actually happened, is breathtaking. I’m actually wondering if we might be looking at the emergence of another “template”, i.e., messing with weather reports. Is anyone else noticing this???

    • Should be InaccuWeather.

      • Deliberately dissimulating the daily climate conjecture is a possibility that I’ve never thought of before but now that I’m thinking about it it could have been going on since the metastasis of the mockingbird media.

Who do Ma & Pa Kettle trust more than the local weatherman?

        • I don’t often check the radio weather reports, but right now, my Accuweather shows storm warnings with possible hail and flash floods until the weekend here. We just had a couple hours of heavy winds and thunderstorms. The most severe areas at this time 4am are eastern Texas with it expanding into Louisiana and upwards into OKC area by 5:25am. After then…? I wonder if you’re seeing the same. We lost internet service last week from a bad storm. Makes scheduling hard, so frustrating. Hope it clears enough for you to get the dialogues and vidchat done.

          • I always use national weather service. Is your radar Rapid City? Looks like a small chance of thunder showers right through Friday. Could use them here in western Massachusetts. Has not rained in days.

            • I have pondered the outcome of concurrent competing weather manipulators/jockeys busy at their Pong style joysticks.

              • I check actual radar and review the prior and incoming storm path to guess the projection. I consider the weather reporting as opinion. a few minutes outside when the leaves flutter… its the end of the dry season here, so rain makes me and my plants quite happy. tornado alley is probably less predictable.
stay safe, we all know how busy you are.

                • Experiments in the “Mandela effect” via putting false info in one region and a different narrative in another region.

                  • I used to go to accuweather and they could accurately predict a month or two in advance, which I thought was really fishy. About a year ago it seemed like they changed and just wanted “cookie data’ more than forecasting the news. I don’t know if you have this in your area but I really like the “audio weather” section. It seems to be written by an actual person who knows statistics and probabilities.
