You might want to reconsider using your Apple-pass or whatever smartphone pass you might be using at the airport… and then, it turns out, they might just seize the data on your laptop, anyway. Sure makes me want to travel…

  One might consider a junk laptop instead & using a thumb drive to boot from a different OS such as Linux for comms.
  Thumb drive removed, no data.
  Radiation, fondling along w/illegal search/seizure is not a choice.
