Although I don’t follow that Agricultural based trade war as closely as I should, I’ve always had a gut feeling that it was somehow connected to an Agenda 21 like plan. BIG corporate farming has its sights fixed on SMALL corporate (family owned) generational farming. I have a feeling (high octane), that red tape will begin to amass in the AG based economy. Larger corporations will be the ones who can weather the storm. Imagine for a moment if OSHA, for example, gets it foot in the door. I didn’t grow up farming, but being from Nebraska, its in my backyard (literally). If OSHA rears its ugly head into this industry, the local boys would be in trouble. For generations, the farmer was insulated, as we NEEDED them to feed the public. IMO, that has changed. Combines, seeders, plows etc, will soon be autonomous. Grain elevators and the like could also be unmanned. TPTB no longer need us to feed them a produce the products they need/desire. The age of AI and automation is at our doorstep.

As far as A21…got a gentrifying house flipper next door with a multi-mil attorney brother specializing in eminent domain. He bought the house 2 doors down & flipped it on Craigslist for a tidy profit. I can only imagine what he said to my neighbor’s of 25yrs to pick up theirs (2260sqft) for $85K. So I did some digging. I wouldn’t doubt they’re using CAF’s software or simply run the demographics on the neighborhood. He’s a gypsy surveyor that’s lived all over God’s green acres. Thought it was curious all his home based biz’ are in the wife’s name.
