Friends in Canada, this is what is being proposed in Nova Scotia- Agenda 21 on Steroids. Unprecedented control over private lands with government telling what is allowed with fines up to $1Million regarding agriculture, livestock, Christmas tree growing, forest management, housing, construction, road building- iow, all development activities. Need to read and act now.

Classic divide and conquer, the environmental/green folks were pitted against the forest industry, yet there’s so much more involved. I think the public just got sick and tired of the whole thing and moved on. Convenient.

It is the same as a University taking over a town. They plan on expansion through the residential neighborhoods and figure they will eventually wear them all down, or simply just be there longer than the homeowners and expand where they want. That is what a degree in planning/landscape architecture gets you- long term cynicism. These SOB’s have the same strategy and unless something BIG happens (and does it soon) we are all just prey.
