I am not American but South African (living in Dubai) and have to say I feel similarly “behind the curve” on historical knowledge. I feel the same way! I do have to say that both Dr. Farrell and Daniel have the most gracious way of inviting us to step up to their level of knowledge which feels so encouraging to me. @justawhoaman Hey justawhoaman, haha no I actually used to be a marlboro man too. I took the name from George Orwell’s novel 1984, Winston is the main character in that novel. So hence Winston1984. Thanks for the friend request!

We can only lean what we’ve been taught.. I’m still trying to wrap my head around scalar physics, but the rest of it makes perfect sense. I know how you all feel. I found this site and from it I learned how little i really know about history, science and so much more. I’ve got a lot more to learn. but hopefully we can help each other learn more about the real world. One idea i have is we can star by posting a list of the books we read. that might help. what do you all think??
