    • Quasi Crystal does this – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quasicrystal
      Quote :

“… quasicrystals, while brittle, could reinforce steel “like armor”…. The small quasicrystalline parti cles impede the motion of dislocation in the material.

Quasicrystals were also being used to develop heat insulation, … and new materials that convert heat to electricity … The low heat conductivity of some quasicrystals makes them good for heat insulating coatings.

Other potential applications include selective solar absorbers for power conversion, broad-wavelength reflectors, and…. Magnetron sputtering can be readily applied to other stable quasicrystalline alloys such as Al-P d”

Does this not seem like Space ship hull quality stuff??

    • Oh.. and also… They were brought together to make COOKING PANS out out Quasi Crystal deposed via electroforming of nanocrystalline metals..
And we wonder where the missing trillions went.. Quasi Cystalline based saucepans.. Because its should a good HEAT INSULATOR that we need to make COOKING PANS out of it.. Unless the Cooking pans need to power a nearby nuclear radar array as we’re cooking meat and beer..
