Call me suspicious, but these moves are VERY convenient to Germany and recalls the “Regionalised Europe” policy. Isn’t it strange that despite centuries-old local traditions, no independence movements seem to get off the ground Germany, and many there would repeat the Anschluss at the drop of a hat.

I don’t like the way Madrid is handling this, it can turn real ugly real fast.
