President Trump will visit us on tuesday. We all are in total darkness but the main hospital is operational. People are tough, optimistic and helping one another. My neighbour from Texas came in and helped me lift my backyard roof from the ground.
We are cleaning from dawn until night. Lots of vegetation on the backyards, you dont see many birds either. It seems they migrated to the west coast.
One thing I wish President Trump do for us is to change the members of the Oversight Board put by President Obama. Starting with an Ukranian Lady by the name of Natalie Jaresko, this lady was asking for a 50 billion dollar care pakage for the Ukraine. She was sent to Puerto Rico to COOL OFF after that disaster to make everybody miserable on Puerto Rico. We pay HALF A MILLION DOLLARS to this lady. Not even our Governor earns that and he is putting heart and soul to this crisis.

I hate to say it, but I get the feeling that the money required to re-build is NOT THERE. This is ironic that the Pentagon gets billions and yet the people of Porto Rico can’t get help.

Gosh Kenny, I feel for you and your people. I hope that woman gets ditched immediately! And I sincerely wish you the very best. Who knows you might be one of my 5th cousins out there! I recently had my DNA and mtDNA sequenced and I have a lot of distant relatives in Puerto Rico 🙂 Just watch the children – I don’t trust the US government and its subsidiaries, especially when they promise assistance.
