I’ve had Beauregard a year now. He was a 5 month old rescue when I got him. If I’m reading he settles down nicely for half an hr. He gives me a short mmn ending on a higher note. I saw this myself on YouTube, and other videos of people playing music for elephants, including a stunning video on a green piano where the elephant mimicked the rhythm of the piece (Scott Joplin’s “The Entertainer”) EXACTLY…. amazing creatures, and so sad poachers are wiping them out…

Yes, so very sad. These elephants and their plight made me feel like weeping for the world. I haven’t felt like doing that for quite some time. It WAS pretty cool the way they seemed to like the piano playing, though, wasn’t it. Kinda makes one wonder how they’d respond to organ playing, 😉
