Has anyone noticed the FLOOD of earthquakes in the South Sandwich Islands over the past 2 days?? I get reports in my e-mail from USGS about all earthquakes over 5 on the Richter scale around the world. I have NEVER received this number from one region. So far there have been more than 50 yesterday & today! These islands are seismically active but this appears unprecedented. What might make this especially interesting to Gizers is that it is a spot near ……..Neuschwabenland in Antarctica. Any speculations??
