I watched the webinar about CS Lewis the other day and was fascinated. Immediately, I downloaded a free sample of “Out of the Silent Planet” and read it. I’m old fashioned and prefer to read a hard copy. Off to my local library. I assumed I would have to order it through inter-library loan since our library is tiny. I was appalled to discover my tiny library had not a single copy of book by CS Lewis, not even in the children’s section. I can understand not having the “Silent Planet” books or the “Screwtape Letters” but no “Narnia Chronicles”? Crap abounds but one of the easiest and best reads in juvenile fiction is not available. The entire series wasn’t even available through inter-library loan. Rant over but quest for good books continues.

They dont want children learning about Aslan/Christ and sacrifice.. I hated Turkish Delight for all my childhood because of that book..
