A century ago, with mustard gas everybody knew who made it and who was using it. Today – there are a lot of studies by so-called military strategists out there – the best bioweapon is a) not easily traceable; b) not so catastrophically lethal that whole cities drop dead in minutes, since even if the exact origin had not been determined world war would ensue. The moral? Take reasonable precautions, stay healthy, listen to official pronouncements with some skepticism. And keep your eyes open for the “second wave” that could come next winter, according to the historical record on epidemics.
