Musical interlude . . . I came across this lovely performance by Jean Rondeau of Bach’s ‘Goldberg Variations’. Of course Glenn Gould’s piano recording is highly praised, but I prefer the original harpsichord version.   Hear hear. I’m getting to the point I don’t like an piano of JS or CPE Bach. You should hear the Goldbergs on the organ.
