    • Sigh…

    • Had to come from the UK… more of the same from our media…

    • They keep talking about 50 – 70 mph winds; pure anecdote but I can tell you there is only a mellow breeze down here in the flats of Napa. I don’t recall ever hearing about “fire whirls” or “fire tornado’s” in years past; did we just lack the technical equipment to document this phenomenon? My brother observed this “whirl fire” up in Redding two…[Read more]

I’m trying to purchase a hard copy of THE SECRET TEACHINGS OF ALL AGES, M.P. Hall. It looks like anything published by the Philosophical Research Society, mid 1970’s, may be my best bet? I’m in need of the Librarians of Giza. Also, we need a Library Page, a place of book recommendation. Then we can produce Giza “Text Books”! JK, but not really.…[Read more]

    • I bought the hardcopy version and am slugging away at it. Pretty fascinating…

    • … ML … we had one on the Forum. I had started a thread in the Forum for just such a thing that ran for about 2 years.. I, along with several others, had contributed to the thread. The recommendations unfortunately disappeared when the Forum was taken down a few months ago. If you’d like I’d be happy to send you copies of the lists.

    • With a Dept. of Cosmic War Studies.

    • If you really wanna go all the way, get a copy of one of the anniversary editions; they are pricey but definitely worth it, and it’s huge – about 18″ x 14″ with marbled boards…it’s the way to go, very nice 🙂

“Control the interpretation, control the behavior.” !!Doff!! I’m reminded of phase conjugation (if I understand it correctly): lasers back-propagating the original “shape”, “signature”, or “sign” of the Event. One may argue that we need to back-propagate our original Archetypical Sign meanings, ASAP.

I always have an urge to write during the day, and within those times, many times, I have trouble conveying my inner Idea on paper; something akin to a polaroid picture of a landscape compared to the real thing. It used to be a defeating event, then I simply began to pick up a book and read during these moments. In these moments, and as I trek…[Read more]

Wow! Thanks for sharing. I’ve been reading Iamblichus lately, and his stories on the teachings of Pythagorus. He tells of Pythagorus imploring young people to not only respect, but adore, and esteem the elderly. Often us youngsters look at the older generation as “out of touch” though, this couldn’t be further from the truth! These folks are a…[Read more]

I now help my neighbor lady with a few outside chores; her husband just passed on to the next phase of consciousness. She’s a German/Russian who was born in Ukraine, 1937. She began to tell me about her early childhood when suddenly she says, “My father was taken in 1938, he was a soldier, and well, that’s Communism”. She said, “his name was at…[Read more]

    • I just came back from Europe after spending a month with an Austrian friend. As Americans, we really can’t fathom the extent of sad stories many Europeans have had to suffer with little complaint from them. We may have relatives here that escaped, but those that stayed usually saw some pretty difficult to imagine situations, some that lasted…[Read more]

    • Agreed…kudos to you. I have had a learning journey from both sides of the pond as our family has grown older….things never talked about when I was a kid by elders in the family due to the painful memories. I come from a long line of German History…many in our family (both sides) came as early to the US as they could from Hamburg. They…[Read more]

It may actually be sulfur if you’re near agriculture. It’s harvest here in Central CA, and every morning the farmers blast their crops with enormous amounts of sulfur. It’s quite bothersome to many people who are sensitive to it. We always buy “sulfate free” wine, but I’m not sure how that’s even possible these days.

I tend to do quite well with long stretches of solitude, but every now and then, humanity seems to cry out. Though, it generally seems to leave me crying… whoa is me:)

I have very few friends these days, and the ones that I do have, the majority, are hanging by threads. I’m fortunate to now have my little family, but I definitely miss my old friends, and even the new ones I just can’t seem to establish longevity with. I’m sure many here can relate to this phenomenon, even so, it still really sucks. Some attri…[Read more]

    • It’s a function of modernity as its been engineered to do just that, among other things. • Heidegger predicts this quite clearly in Being In Time. In my opinion, it was a major influence on his placing support behind the Nazi’s – which was considered a barbarous wrecking crew. People fail to appreciate the shock waves someone of his stature joining with national socialism induced in the liberal elite of the day.
