The Western World is back to the normalsy of war. Middle East and rumblings at Russia’s border. What a better send-off at the end of his life in this topsy turvy world than a peace prize for Biden! That so many in the Western hemishere can’t see that is beyond me.

    • The educational system (I’ll speak just for the USA) and the Media conglomeration have brainwashed the people to think that military action against other countries is to ‘help’ the ‘oppressed’ citizens of these ‘less developed’ countries. It has been my observation that the majority of US citizens have no idea they actually live within an Empire much less that the military actions in other countries is to secure natural resources and other ‘assets’ for the Empire’s perpetuation and control expansion as well as those other countries it has ‘elitist dynastic’ ties with.
The vast majority of US citizens watch CNN, CNBC, Fox, ABC, etc. and believe every word they’re told. Of some encouragement, is that more of the populace has begun to question the narrative they are being fed – not enough yet though.

      • I second PiPoe. My observation has been that (as a general rule, not in every case) Americans are a lot less aware of, or interested in, what goes on in the rest of the world, and less attuned to geopolitics, than Europeans are. I got a degree from a U.S. university a long time ago, and later in life did the first year of an undergraduate program at a French university. The difference in standards between American and French universities was like night and day… Educational standards in the U.S. are abysmal. Dr. Farrell was aware of it long before I was, which, if I understand it, is one of the reasons he chose Oxford. But, increasingly, Western Europe seems to be deteriorating right along with the U.S.

          • Can’t say anything about university. Nurses don’t go to university.
What I can say of today’s batch is that they can’t write. They cannot produce a full sentence. They can’t “observe” either wich means “observe and report” is out the door, a big staple of the job. I am ranting but “stupid” entered the whole western hemisphere. I think the biggest push back comes from the former communistic eu countries. They have been there already!

              • I think you’re right about the whole Western world. It’s sad to see the dumbing down that has happened in so many places.
