    Essential oils can be amazingly useful… Peppermint is another one that’s often recommended as an insect repellent.

  Very cool. So many natural substances which became used in culinary were, in fact, remedies. Now I know that I need to eat more wild rice as I always add nutmeg to it to enhance the flavor…. More eggnog?
