It’s true the German population is attached to paper currency. But when I look around the world and see so many governments acting in ways that look like they don’t give a hoot about what their people want, I wonder if it’s going to matter what the population of Germany wants.
The Germans can be pushed just so far; they will not give up the extensive use of cash, and Germany controls the euro.
