Meanwhile in oppressed, suppressed & thoroughly screwed Australia, $50 & $100 are mircochipped.

      • Funny UBS promoting the removal of large bills, seems like one big happy banking cabal family. Oh, yeah that “black economy”, the one ran by the intelligence agencies? They must think everybody lives in the 1950’s and only has 4 channels to watch on tv, that’s pretty insulting at this point in the game. When I got my driver’s license renewed three months ago, I looked at the see through hologram on it and said to myself, that looks strange. Now I’ve got a new angle to wonder about. Frickin’ awesome.

        • I remember seeing “On the Beach” as a kid where Australia was an area of the planet having survived a nuclear war. The cloud of radiation was making its way there.
I always thought Australia was the safest place left on the planet since then. Who knew!

            • That movie has haunted me my entire life.

                • It was in my thoughts for a long time after I saw the movie.
Fred Astaire crashing his Jaguar(I believe it was a Jaguar) in order to commit suicide to avoid the effects and eventual death from the radiation working its way to Australia was really shocking.

              • A strong magnet would take care of that.

                • What is it about the major Commonwealth countries that has them all marching in the same direction? India was the testbed for the cashless society. And just look at the repressive measures in parts of Canada and Australia today. (To be fair, some parts of the U.S. aren’t all that far behind the march, so maybe it’s more an Anglosphere thing than a Commonwealth thing.)

                    • The Canadian penny is already gone and the 1,000 dollar bill is on its way out too.

                        • By “repressive measures,” I was thinking more about civil liberties, but I know there’s been a war on cash in the English-speaking world (and other places) for a while now. Maybe this microchipping of paper money is a halfway measure till they perfect digital “currency” or a way to get people used to the idea that all their purchases will be tracked.

                        • I’ve been asking the same question. Is England the controller of all this ? It’s a common denominator.

                            • That has been my suspicion, especially since England harbors the City of London. In fact, one might even speculate the City is the controller and England itself is among those being controlled. I always thought it a tad too convenient that BoJo, initially one of the major anti-lockdown voices on the global stage, was hospitalized… then totally changed his tune, just in time to stay in lockstep with the approved narrative.
