Rubin seems to think that politicians are a necessary part of the way forward. I concur with the thought others have expressed that a corrupt system cannot be rectified from within that system. -

Country music isn’t something I listen to often; I do find some songs are attractive for one reason or another. This one by the Charlie Daniels Band makes me smile, not only for the fancy fiddlin’, but because the message is yes, you can beat the wicked ones.

I am presently crafting a brief (just a few pages) literary work. It is important that this piece have resonance. Toward that end, I wish to incorporate a ‘cadence’ of sorts. It may be that simply weaving the 12 note Chromatic Scale (thanks Mr. Bernstein) and some rhetoric techniques (thanks to Liam and his vidchat with Dr. Farrell I have procured…[Read more]

I have just finished Dr. Farrell’s book “The Cosmic War” – fascinating read. There are too many take-aways to list; I will mention one – the Enuma Elish eerily corresponds to our current time.
Thank you for your work Dr. Farrell – just reading the Bibliography provides insight into the extensive research that goes into your publications; add in…[Read more]-
Yes PP The Cosmic War is a great book and it is the “centerpiece” for all Dr. Farrell’ books. The only thing I can suggest is to read some of the books that immediately follows TCW, the leap to Microcosm and Medium is pretty big

Thank you for your input Downunder. If my sole source of knowledge was Dr. Farrell’s books, I would agree with you that reading M & M might be a large leap. As that is not the case, I feel comfortable moving in this direction. Again, thank you for the input; I always value it.

Thank you for sharing these works. As I listen to more and more of them, my appreciation grows (I will say that my preference is for JS vs. CPE – lol). Do you prefer CPE? and if so why? -

Interesting that the timeline for the Phase 1 competition completes in September of this year. I know I’ve heard something else about Sept. 2021 but can’t recall it at the moment; it may have been financial in nature. -

Yes, it does have that affect as well. Perhaps it’s the change in tempo and scale that appeals to me. I do find the lyrics unappealing. Thanks for your input Margaret. -

Carl Orff – Carmina Burana
The first piece performed is O Fortuna
This piece gets my energies flowing. What affect does this produce for you?

I cannot listen to Carmina Burana. I find it dark, heavy, and oppressive. This is the only piece of music that affects me this way … strange …

They are definitely pushing – it would be helpful if more pushed back – either by passive non-compliance or aggressive non-compliance if that’s one’s gig. -

Have you tried Vivaldi (four seasons)? I’m particularly fond of this performance by Janine Jansen (uplifting – for me anyway)
