Carved stone balls of Scotland. Their original use is still a mystery and much speculated upon.
The National Museum of Scotland has produced 3D images of many of these unusual balls that you can view and inspect here – https://blog.nms.ac.uk/2018/06/06/enormous-petrified-mulberries-a-new-dimension-on-carved-stone-balls/
I wonder if the shapes and designs on these balls are related to Old Norse Gods and/or perhaps to the Tree of Life and the cosmic frequencies associated with it.
Just had another thought related to Gods (thanks to Laura’s post on Mundus Subterraneus); both the Edda (Poetic and Prose) – Norse, and the Vedas – India have personified the natural forces as Gods. Perhaps these carved stones depict these Gods and the natural forces they represent. Reginkunnom, as I understand it, stands for “knowledge of the gods” or “divine origin”.
