At one point in the to and fro of pre-chat last Friday ( 10/11 /19 ) I mentioned a book titled ‘Bronze Age Mindset’, written by an anonymous author (notorious on Twitter) going by the moniker ‘Bronze Age Pervert’ ( or ‘BAP’ ). When asked to summarize the book ( a strange mélange of anti-Enlightenment sentiments, ancient history, and body-building! ) I could think of no better place to start than a review by Michael Anton ( himself somewhat notorious, having penned the influential ‘Flight 93 Election’ essay in 2016 for the Claremont Review of Books under the name ‘Publius Decius Mus’ ).
