Hmmmm. This takes some research into what it ACTUALLY says and what intent. Reading one of these things quickly can sometimes find you reading what you want it to say, not what it says.

The first thing that comes to mind is that transformers are extremely vulnerable, we have a small stockpile in the US and they are currently made in China because they are such a pain to make (high failure rate and DOA). THis makes sense to me but it creates in my mind a new scenario. People have speculated about the California real estate being targeted in highly sought after the large fires from a few years ago. If we are focusing on China, they had a financial motive to create an event that would open up investment opportunity a la african silk road. They had the technology in place since all of the transformers come from China, these could have been used to create surges which then led to fires. Additionally, we know that certain electronics can contain backdoor hardware and it is possible that the Chinese government had the US transformers planted with individual control devices.
It’s complete speculation but it seems more credible than other theories floating out there.
We’re all reading tea leaves here but giants are playing in the sandbox. We should take care to not get crushed.
