lol… no kidding Downunder… It seems not a day goes by that the oligarchs don’t come up with a new one. Maybe the BOE “misplaced” Venezuela’s gold like the NY Fed misplaced Germany’s in 1928… Or to quote Mr. Roberts’ neighborhood, “Can you say ‘re-hypothecation’ boys and girls?” (Cue theme song… “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood…”)
I’m reminded of the Blacklist episode where Reddington steals one hundred dollar engraving plates and gives them to Venezuela… funny thing too, as there seem increasingly to be stories about illegal printing of US money outside the US, using US plates…
