If middle-class Americans do not feel threatened by the slow encroachment of the police state or the Patriot Act, it is because they live comfortably enough and exercise their liberties very lightly, never testing the boundaries. You never know you are in a prison unless you try the door.

I read somewhere that if a few thousand people in different places got together and simply wore a carnival mask or even a xerox photo of whatever famous personality, the fake-cial recognition- cum-geolocation bots would be in a pretty pickle.
… something along the line of suggestion made by Dr. Farrell that if there were an intentional, coordinated effort to provide enough bad data to the data collectors that their algorithms could be manipulated. Nice idea you have there Dana. 🙂
