… Dr. Farrell has mentioned on at least one occasion that one response to the “elite” would be to mock them. Given all the recent activity of one L. (I’ll just say L since it is unclear exactly what he wishes to be known by) Elizondo it seems entirely appropriate that he should receive such treatment. I have tried, but have been unable, to find a particular clip from The Mary Tyler Moore Show where Lou, in a discussion with Ted, becomes quietly threatening. As Lou talks Ted begins to say “Oh, Lou” and as Lou continues Ted begins to say “Oh Lou” in a variety of ways. At the height of Lou’s “speech” to Ted the last uttering of “Oh Lou” is particularly drawn out and quite comical (if my memory is accurate) even though Ted is supposedly, at this point, fearing for his life. The episode entitled “Ted’s Moment of Glory” has some of Ted’s “Oh Lou” expressions in it, but they are not the ones I’m remembering. It strikes me that a craftily edited set of clips with Elizondo uttering some nonsense followed by the clip of Ted Baxter’s “Oh Lou” might just be viral meme worthy (and deservedly mocking of TTSA). Just a thought.

    • Perhaps less risky than mocking is shunning – shunning them, their families, what they do, what they say, where they go, what they produce, what they demand.

    • Well, just look at today’s blog on “menstrual equality”. These poor-little-rich guys and girls are living in a world that make Lewis Carrol look banal. That’s why they (at least in the US) now appear in public only when the situation is tightly under control, or so they hope. In normal human society they would be laughed off the stage.
