Elon Musk’s Neuralnet Presentation form last night. He claims surgery ready brain to AI link. Notice the emphasis (or actually lack of) on the structure of REPRESENTATION. (This is an edited version)
CNET description – Electric vehicles, rockets… and now brain-computer interfaces. Elon Musk’s newest venture, Neuralink, aims to bridge the gap between humans and artificial intelligence by implanting tiny chips that can link up to the brain. At a press conference on July 16, Neuralink’s ambitious plans were detailed for the first time, showcasing a future (a very distant future!) technology that could help people deal with brain or spinal cord injuries or controlling 3D digital avatars.

With Elon’s batting average with his automobiles, it is going to be a HARD pass, for me.
My crystal ball says, “serious headaches expected”.
I couldn’t watch more than 30 seconds into the “implant” and I wanted to throw up; not because of the surgery, but merely the implication of moving THAT FAR toward trans humanism. Good God. Literally.
