As I often say – I can’t wait until computers are running everything. Life will be soooooo much better.

Geeeeee … I seem to remember these objects …I swear I have this faint memory that they were soooooo helpful in situations like this … the names of them are on the tip of my tongue … wait … wait … (snaps fingers to help the process) … oh yeah … now I remember … pencil and paper.

SEEEEEE … “The underlying data and paper trail is sound (… oh, and while we’re on the subject I have a very nice bridge in Brooklyn that I’m willing to sell very cheaply, … hush P.T, you can speak with them when I’m through. What ? Yes, I’m well aware that another minute has passed) and will simply take time to further report the results.” AND while “The app was meant to speed the reporting of results from over 1,600 locations across the state, but officials had to resort to tabulating the results BY HAND, reporting them by phone.” So why didn’t they do it this way the first time?

Phrases that should ALWAYS get your attention … “It’s for the children.”, “This will make it (whatever process you are referring to) faster.”, “This will save you money.”, any phrase that begins with “Trust me …” … I’m sure there are many other phrases that should send a chill down your spine and a shock into both hemispheres …
