We already knew the election system was broken. Trump himself said so before the 2016 election. So why didn’t he rectify the broken system? Could it be because the political system and its associated processes are fake, theater, pretense?! Are we living in “The Truman Show”?! Looks like it to me.
Whoa! Take a breath. States run their own elections, not the Federal government. Sure the Congress can legislate and make changes, but not the Administration. Give ’em credit for having some lawyers and folks with video cameras to catch the dirty deeds as best they could.
I admire your faith in the system. I wish I could share it.
What system are you referring to? My remarks were about what is the law of the land. The 50 States run their own elections under the laws passed by the Congress. Now if there are folks who either ignore or operate outside the law they can be dealt with and adjudicated by the current system. Perhaps they win, or they lose. Now if you mean there are people who want to operate under a different system outside of the law then that could be what you refer to because there are folks out there who want to overthrow the Law of the Land, and establish something that does not resemble the USA as founded. As I’ve written many times in the past few days we are heading into a New Civil War.
I have no legal training, but I thought The United States ran on admiralty law, not the law of the land; and, if Trump’s first/only term has taught me anything, it is that the rule of law no longer applies.
As far as I can tell, The United States of America as founded has not operated at least since the incorporation of The United States Corporation in 1871.
