… if only we spent the amount of time and money spent on the development of new tank munitions on oh, I don’t know _____________ (you fill in the blank) not figuring out how to weaponize everything under the sun … – Thought for the day: “A 22 will kill you dead, but a nuclear weapon will kill you deader.” – Anonymous
Maybe Stan Friedman was right … the favorite pastime of human beings does appear to be genocide.

    • I don’t know? A part of society is very good at destroying things, excels at them even. It is that other thing “what is it called again” I can’t remember, that is more difficult! (lol – sarcasm)

      • Is there another species on the planet that kills its own members for entertainment? (And for profit, of course.)

        • It is a small psychopathic proportion of the population (I don’t even want to include them with the humans) and their profit and power possessed minions that continue, accelerate and amplify the destruction of life. The vast majority of us would prefer peace and the chance to live our lives without harming others. We need to be deceived into believing that other ordinary humans are our enemies, rather than the psychopaths who have risen to the top. Unfortunately, most are too gullible and trusting of authority, which is composed of said psychopaths and their minions.

            • … If true, then the question becomes … If it is given that we know who they are, what they are doing, and how they are doing it, then what do we do with them? Until that question is answered and some solution applied we should stop our whining and complaining because everything will remain the same (or worse).
Maybe T.R. was onto something, “I am interested in the Panama Canal because I started it. If I had followed traditional, conservative methods, I should have submitted a dignified state paper of probably two hundred pages to Congress, and the debate would have been going on yet. But I took the Canal Zone, and let Congress debate, and while the debate goes on, the Canal does also!”
