  Ahem I looked hard for something about the propulsion system….. Low Earth Orbit = outside of the atmosphere for all intents and purposes. Could be ion drive, among other things.

    Yes, indeed it could – assuming that the craft as shown is not just a cardboard cut-out on wheels. To me, the announcement looks more like a steganographic message of some sort from USSF.
