            … to paraphrase (and also often misheard) Pink Floyd from The Wall, “Yes, yes, and I’m still waiting” … aaahhhhh yes, “hope” the ultimate Gremlin in one’s watch. … (see Robin Williams “The Rev. Earnest Angry’s Disco Temple of Comedy” – “What he is?, Here … now? Gotta Go!” and also the Hard John Apple series. Eerie #106 contains reprints of all four stories in the series bound together … of particular interest to “waiting” is a scene found in Story Number 4 of Hard John’s Nuclear Hit Parade, “Gonna Nuke Mankind Right Outa My Hair” (art by Jose Ortiz and story by Jim Stenstrum) where Hard John is inside a ruined church.
