What’s the point of banning it? We have it even in public libraries here in Finland. It’s in the section of “banned books” in my local library.

If only to prevent future generations (much less today’s) from the ability to recognize it when they (will) see it.
It’s just a blatant propaganda piece. Making it “secret” or banned material, makes it only more appealing for the weak minded people. It’s already out there, you ban it from book stores or not. But I understand your point.

Keeping copies of “banned books” in a library seems a bit of an oxymoron…how convenient though, I’d head straight for that section and save the others for later…;o).
Read Mein Kampf years ago as required for a political science major. I realized yep, if ya tell a big enough lie with rewards and status/forced or otherwise, the people will sacrifice for the cause…kinda like what’s currently in play.
