OK guys I’m confused – My gut tells me yes Antifa are behind the Western fires, because its exactly what they do – foment chaos and drain govt departments of resources. But I came across this and although some of it seems dodgy, like the Facebook part, there are statements from police in there – are the police in on it? Is this really brilliant spin trying to cover for these criminals? I’m sure whatever is going on here (I live near Portland) it is emphatically not one thing. I do wonder if one of those things is retribution for the Three Gorges Dam flooding. Anyone not believing this isn’t a shooting war isn’t paying attention.

yes, and the more I think about it, my gut just tells me, this report is propaganda. The police in Portland are under siege and possibly compromised in their ability to even properly investigate. All it takes is a reporter to put out propaganda and voila, you’ve got pushback. The phrase “fever dream” is very telling to me, the use of Facebook as sourcing, and Intercept is not a reliable outlet – they definitely have an agenda. I still have a soft spot for G. Greenwald over there for his work with Assange and wikileaks, but that’s about it.
We’ve never lived (well most of us?) in a homeland wartime situation, and discerning the propaganda from the lies is going to be an ongoing test of our discernment.
