SHall we compare thee to a key beam’s oublie?

Thou ART more beauteous and more serene;
Rough Storms do Shake thy darling blooms of July,
And Donkey’s rent hath all too harsh a líen;
Sometimes too hot that Eye of Heaven blasts,
And oft is His gold dispassion fleck’d;
And ev’ry Fair beckons iconoclasts
By Chance, or Natures changing Course uncheck’d;
But thy Eternal seasons Will stay proud
And keep Fair that Estate wherethrough thou dwell’st;
Nor shall “Peace” brag thou Wand’rest in his shroud
When in eternal Communions thou swell’st.

So long as Men may Breathe or minds might view,
So long lives Inspiration, and Inspiration gives Life to You …
