A couple of polls have shown Le Pen’s numbers to have increased due to the Islamist attack on police in Paris. I have a suspicion that her numbers are higher than shown in the polls. Macron has sounded especially like a man who has had his spine surgically removed. When asked about Fillon, I find I must be honest and say I know of no one voting for the man. I have some friends who will vote their hard Left convictions and vote far Left as a matter of religious obligation. I know a few people who – like Macron – have no spine, and they will vote for the squishy man in the Centre. Some won’t vote because they believe it is all rigged by Rothschild. The rest will vote for Le Pen … even those who vowed they would never vote for Front National.
