Here we go again, morep power outages. Infrastructure obsolescence? Deliberate sabotage? Let’s see what the news reports say, for what they’re worth. One thing they’ll probably never say is that it is – drumroll – THE RUSSIANS. For the same reason that they kept the strange affair a few decades ago of the nuclear launchers being remotely tampered with, very quiet. And the reason they kept Nazi acquisition of the A-bomb quiet: the old Oriental obsession of “saving face” and giving the impression that the empire is invulnerable. Even though the weird accusations of “Russian hacking” of elections implied that the Russians had the capability to interfere in key computerized processes. Anyway, if it is sabotage, the Russians are NOT necessarily at the top of a list of suspects. A party or parties who might want to discredit or blackmail the new administration? Or strike at a sector of the deep State (by interfering with power to facilities not within the public domain). Who better fits the bill than a grouping with corporate links… somebody very familiar with the interaction between the internet system and the grid; and more than willing to come up with a solution. For a price, of course.
