You should check out the the course: how to listen to and understand great music by Robert greenberg.
Welcome to civilised listening!! I think Mozart is a good place to start – check out his Piano Concertos on Youtube. Then check out the work of JS Bach and CPE Bach.
Art and history go together. If you look at different historical periods, their political, social and spiritual ideologies and assumptions are reflected in the art of that period. Might I suggest that you start with a period in history that you are interested in, and study the music of that era. You don’t have to know how to read or play music, but by reading about the era and listening to its music, you will enrich your understanding of it.
Tuning the A to 432hz will be a great start. Now you’re listening to it properly 🙂
