Amazing results in the French parliamentary elections: with an abstention rate of 50%(unheard of in the 1st round), they have broken free from the determinism of the double-round electoral system. This throws a spanner in the works making it hard for the Macron-Merkel government to calculate the 2nd round outcome to decide the parliamentary seats, as well as showing mass rejection of the current political class in the country.

    • Note: my understanding is that the parliamentary electoral system in France (like the presidential system) has a first round leaving the two most voted candidates in each const ituency, and a 2nd round runoff vote between those two candidates. Sounds good in theory. Historically, it’s the 2nd round that has had very high abstention levels by all the people who did NOT vote either of the two front runners. This tended to favour the frontrunner in the first round. In the case of the presidential elections, the oligarch propaganda campaign was waged more “against” LePen than “for” Macron, calling on the people to cast what they call the “useful vote” (i.e. for the candidate most supported by and against the candidate most hated by the oligarchs, so that in the recent presidential election, Macron was actually voted in by a minority with respect to the potential voters, normal in the US but less so in Europe ). This will be the reaction now in any consti tuencies where the Front National came in second.
In case of mass abstention in the FIRST legislative round, however, the analysts have less sure data to work on. If past trends apply, the SECOND round would register higher abstention rates than the FIRST round, perhaps favouring the FIRST round winner except in very tight results. But who is to say how this will work on a seat-by-seat basis, with so many local personalities and interests coming into play?

    • No one cares anymore.. Now that Rothechild is in charge.. and it was such a sunny day yesterday.. no chemtrails in sight..
In France, they have a system called ‘white vote’ you turn up, put a white piece of paper in the ballot box and it’s counted as ‘absent’ a way to demonstrate your ‘mécontentement’ But it isnt counted against the people standing for office… so it means nothing, another feu d’artifice for the sheep..

      • Well to a certain extent, yes, but I don’t think this can be ignored whatever the runoff ballot results are – and (generalising of course) people in France are not quite so willing to bow down before authority as the population in the “Anglosphere”….

        • Dont be too sure Dana, they had their revolution moment. Then they screwed it up and turned it into civil war.. The PTB learnt their lesson, I assure you there is NO way that will happen again in Europe.
Just 1 exemple of my head, The French had an election to see if they adopted the Euro single currency.
The overwhelming response was NON, so Chirac went ahead and did it anyway.
          No one said a thing.
          No one.
          Lucky for us Democracy works.

          • No innovation will come from super-chemtrailed Paris, that’s for sure.

            • I took photots of the Paris SKy last time I was there (about 2 weeks ago).. If you loko REALLY hard.. you can see some blue behind the chemtrails… The only thing that makes me ‘doubt’ the toxicity of these darn things.. No point poisoning the politiciens as well.. no?
