There is a headline saying “Australia suspends military flights over Syria”. Could anybody Downunder explain what strategic interests the country supposedly has there. Apart from Syria being practically in Australia’s backyard as any good map will show….

ah. got here too late – I’m with Tommi – its 5 eyes. Australia has no military interests anywhere.. other than surviving another day with Australia trying its hardest to kill you as soon as you leave your home..their military is taken up all the way with survival..

funny story Crocodile Dundee.. I think it was Mr Hutchinson from INXS, put a load of money into financing the film in order to drop him below a certain tax bracket.. then the film made millions and pushed him up into the next bracket higher I think.. (first world problems.. the guy made too much money..:))
