Ugh… of ALL the “difficult crunch” chapters in ALL my books thus far, this chapter of ______ and the ______ is by far and away the most difficult of them all… I continue to slog through it and hope it ends up making SOME kind of sense of a massive mess… yet is not so “tidy” that one loses the sense of what a massive mess it is. But at least about 30 more pp written today, on what may turn out to be the longest chapter in a book I’ve ever written.

Yes, you’re quite correct, it’s an unbelievable train wreck of a soap opera (what I’m writing about I mean), except it really all happened in a galaxy far far away and some time ago.
