Sigh… I wish whatever is cleaning the Mars robber would come over to my house and clean it! Yeah that wind… strange how my car never gets clean when the winds reach 20 mph…

    • NASA sure seems really good at self-cleaning technology. Just look at the “feet” of the moonlander; right after landing on a dusty moon, balancing on a (alledged) pillar of jet exhaust. Not a speck of dust anywhere….

      • LOL … As soon as I saw the headline .. I thought .. Oh man!! .. the Giza’s are going to have a field day with THIS one .. Count me in .. Maybe that’s NASA’s REAL mission .. developing self cleaning mechanisms to test around the more rural regions of Vegas ..

    • It got cleaned by little martian wind devil, you can see them cavorting around the Rover, then bang.. insta-cleaned.. That one OK.. If you want.. I’m willing to accept that the great mighty hand of ‘Co-incidence’ just happened to put the Rover in a path of the exact thing it needed at that exact moment..
However.. I dont really mind the mysterious cleaning of the rover.. (the Iggigis did it – woot) What I’d like to know.. is what did they learn at the bottom of the craters? They took 7 months to drive around the thing looking for a way in.. And then….??? What did thye find? (Other than the fact that there is clay materiel – which is good..)
