One of the proposals for the cause of the incidents suggested by the article is electronic failure in the navigation systems, specifically as caused by a spoofing attack on the GPS system. Here is an article on a security blog from 2008 about how this is easily done:
So a guy in a van could do this in 2008.
So, perhaps this is actually not such a high tech attack then….
I wonder why it’s being spun up in certain alternative media as being a high tech attack? Hmmm.
Getting zapped by “low tech” is politically (and in the end FINANCIALLY) embarassing – more embarassing that the fairy tale about sailors “falling asleep on the bridge”
Great story about the tugboat being “miraculously” (electronically) transported from the Mississippi to a lake in downtown Dallas
Indeed, gives new meaning to the idea of spooky action at a distance 🙂
I that’s what the gps data said, it MUST be true 🙂 😮
Philidelphia Experiment showed them that teleportation and temporal displacement can happen.. Just make sure you remain anchored when you come back.. otherwise you end up being fused with what ever’s around you..
