What will emerge from this Iranian-Turkish dialogue I wonder? Hezbollah is only briefly mentioned but I get the feeling they are more important in this than is being acknowledged

This is from 2002 but might still be relevant. Re the financing of Hezbollah:
“Although much attention has focused on the flow of Iranian aid to Hezbollah, estimated at $60-100 million per year, the group has also relied extensively on funding from the Shi’ite Lebanese Diaspora in West Africa, the United States and, most importantly, the so-called Triple Frontier, or tri-border area, along the junction of Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil. While the volume of illegal remittances from South America is not known exactly, ongoing investigations by police in Paraguay indicate that tens of millions of dollars have been transferred in recent years.”
South America…. hmm

How interesting… it seems someone is trying (has been trying since at least 2010) to get a movie/TV series made that is set in and possibly tells some stories about this South American area, the “Triple Frontier” – and they are dogged with problems…. someone doesn’t want said movie/TV series made?

I agree… all focus has been on Suni terrorist groups but the Shia ones are also worth watching carefully
