    While awaiting the Hess book I am currently reading the 1979 “The Murder of Rudolf Hess” by Spandau physician Hugh Thomas. From the evidence presented there seem to be several “Hesses”: the one who left on the plane from Augsburg, the one who crash landed in Scotland, the one at Nuremburg and the one in Spandau. Starting from the evidence that the Spandau prisoner did NOT have any of the scars of the serious injuries suffered by the real Hess in World War One…
