I tend to agree with the Saker… I have exactly the same response to Putin’s 2007 and 2015 speeches.
I love everything the man says, but remain wary. I’m not sure Russia is an utopian success story, free from nefarious centralised banking families.
I don’t know if the ‘russian orphan from the wilderness’ template works for me..(i wonder if.. in 500 years.. our desendants will tell tales of Vlad the Orphan brought up by bears in the wilderness and built Moscow with his bare hands in a day…stuff of legends..he had a brother called Remus..)
