    Review of “The Unquiet Frontier”, the 2016 neocon playbook that still seems to inform the tottering empire’s Mackinderesque, anti-Russian policy thinking, receiving a “gushing” review by McMaster in the Wall St. Jour.

      Since the move to divide and conquer the “heartland” has failed, we now have the “rimland imperative”, i.e. the coastal (Dugin would say thalassocratic) “encirclement” of Asia from the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Japan in the East, and of course the Baltic in the West.
