3D printing comes to space….. “Electron, marketed as a 21st Century Rocket employing innovative technology, is the first orbital launch vehicle to rely on electric-pump-fed engines, 3D printing for all major engine components and a carbon-composite structure – all geared towards creating a low-cost yet robust launch vehicle. Standing 17 meters tall and measuring 1.2 meters in diameter, Electron has a launch mass of 12,550 Kilograms.”
