Tidbit for Gizars: in the attached table of Chinese products subject to new US tarrifs the first one is THORIUM PRODUCTS. So you will be able to have genuine home-grown tooth whitener, fusion energy units etc. etc.

Good catch Dana! No Chinese thorium tidbits for me, thank you. There have been so many scandals about toxic ingredients in Chinese food exports . . . esp. the melamine adulteration in baby foods to falsify protein content! Not just in China, but in the US, the Department of Energy wanted to allow U235 depleted uranium to be recycled into common consumer products (unlabeled). like table utensils, golf clubs &c. to get around disposal regulations! Caveat emptor!
Yes, we will have home-grown “depleted” uranium too (2nd on the tarrif list), not the pitiful low radiation Chinese version!
