    Long article but it cites several studies and is a good review of the dehumanising effect of technology.

      This is amazing. “Ourself behind ourself concealed—Should startle most,” left me thinking about my own actions. And how about Facebook’s experiments? or OKCupid’s horrid one? Such evil people Cara. The section about click-empathy is very enlightening as was the section on outsourcing human labour, and the device addition! The concept of the digital sixth sense is despicable! What better way to teach an AI ! “Our devices will soon read our own and others’ signals for us” – by then it will be too late. It seems to me the technocrats are steering us, humanity, “end-users”, into one massive comatose hive. This was an excellent article. Thank you for posting it.
