    This is the kind of music I grew up with. (When I wasn’t laying on the floor in front of the stereo listening to The Beatles, LOL!) But this really reminds me of my mother, deceased 2010. I still miss her terribly.

      When I studied the piano, I always played a Chopin piece to finish off the practice. It seemed to me that the piano was incomplete without him. He was also one of my mother’s favourite composers, and like you, when I now listen to some of his pieces, I’m reminded of the way she would quietly hum to his hauntingly beautiful melodies.
